It has already been renewed for another season i.e the third season. However, there will be a delay due to all the pandemic situation that is going on right now. However, officials have commented that the third season i.e. The Mandalorian Season 3 will be released by Christmas of 2023. So expect the exact official release Date 2-3 months before that time.

The Mandalorian Season 3: Where to Watch?

All the two seasons of The Mandalorian are available on Disney+, and we can hope the third season will air on the same platform too!

The Mandalorian Season 3: Cast

We will be seeing the main character Mando taking back his role in the Mandalorian Season 3. So, we can surely say Pedro Pascal will be back as Din Djardin, and we will be seeing him a lot. However, we might not see a lot of Grogu a.k.a Baby Yoda as it was shown in the second season that he is off with Luke Skywalker.

But, he also happens to be the reason why the show is this popular. So, the writers might change their minds after all. We will see Giancarlo Esposito in a bigger role as the villain- Moff Gideon. The writers have a bigger plot for him in the third season.

But, we might not get to see Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett and Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand. Their very own spin-off series- ‘The Book of Boba Fett’ has been declared for which they might not make an appearance here.

The Mandalorian Season 3: Plot

The plot of season 3 has a lot of possibilities. The season 2 ending has left a lot of open holes to fill in the Mandalorian season 3 storyline. Everyone wants to know the fate of Mando. The plot is rumored to be about Mandalore more. Will Mando accept Mandalore? Is he going to fight for it and rule as the King? Will he want to go on a different path?

We can only confirm the above possibilities once we have solid confirmatory proof on our hands.

The Mandalorian Season 2: Ending Explained!

The viewers were left emotional as the two main characters parted ways. Mando and Grogu went their own separate ways. As Grogu went on with Luke Skywalker to continue on with his training.

But, we see Mando being left with nothing. His ship got destroyed and he gets hold of a weapon, he has no intention of using. However, Dark Saber makes him the ruler of Mandalore. He does not want to be any part of it!

The episode ends with Luke Skywalker walking in, which brought tears to the eyes of every Star Wars fan. His face seemed aged by the use of CGI. He took Baby Yoda with him, saying the force is strong with him!

The Mandalorian Season 3

What happens exactly?

Mando knows that he needs to find more of his own kind. In such a situation he gets to know about Bo-Katan Kryze who can be the apparent heir to the Mandalorian throne. However, Bo-Katan Kryze is also after the weapon- Dark Saber.

Mando also meets with the Jedi Padawan of Anakin Skywalker who tells him that Grogu should be with the force for his own welfare. Mando’s ship is destroyed, but he finds a way to rescue Grogu, putting together a ragtag team of fighters. Therefore we are looking forward to The Mandalorian Season 3.

The tale of Darksaber

Mando manages to reach Grogu’s cell, only to find Moff Gideon inside, pointing the Darksaber at the baby. Moff reveals that he has no further use for Grogu since he has already taken the child’s blood for his M-count experiment.

They both fight, but the dark saber does not do much harm against the material of pure beskar. Mando wins and brings Gideon back to the bridge where Bo-Katan is waiting, she is not very happy to see the Darksaber in Mando’s hands.

Mando immediately offers it to her, saying that he’s yielding it to her willingly, but it doesn’t work that way. The Darksaber’s ownership can only be won through combat. She has to fight Mando to take it back.

But, this is something that is not the problem of ‘The Mandalorian’ Season 2. Maybe we get to witness this fight in the next season.

The episode ends with Grogu and Mando parting way. But, will that be the end of their beautiful friendship? Guess we have to wait for The Mandalorian Season 3 to get the answers to all these questions.

The wait will be over soon. We will update you as soon as we get any other updates on The Mandalorian Season 3. However, till then stay tuned. Also, read our other articles on anime like Boruto Chapter 53.
